Prof. Dr. Jixue Li holds a doctor of physics and is honored as Qiu Shi Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University. He is director of electron microscopy micro-structure and x-ray diffraction society of Zhejiang Province and managing director of China society of electron microscopy .  His research focuses on the microstructure and properties of metallic materials, mechanical materials and carbon-based inorganic nanomaterials.

He has completed the National Natural Science Foundation, national high technology research and development program (863) sub-project, national key basic research development program (973) sub-project, national talent introduction (111), etc. And now he is hosting a sub-project of the national major instrumentation research and development program. 

He has published multiple papers in the highly impact journals such as  PRB, PRL, Adv. Materials,  Nano Letters, Small, Carbon, JACS,etc. 

His research interest includes: 

1.Correlation between the microstructure and properties of metallic materials

2.In-situ oxidation behavior of mechanical materials

3.E-beam irradiation effects on the microstructure of nanomateirals
